Default Channel count incrementing by 6 in scantool (PIDs tab)...

    Paul,

This makes it harder when choosing/unchoosing pids...

My susgestion is to display the actual channel count, and to also display something like a packet count and a frame count where each of these two increment as soon as they start being occupied, i.e. packet is 1 for 1..6 channels, is 2 for 7..12 channels... and frame is 1 for 1..24 channels, is 2 for 25..48 channels...

something like this will make it easier to say to someone "keep your packet count at 6" or "keep your frame count at 1".

    Cheers,
    Joe
