    Some ideas:
    - Did you select pids on the PIDs tab...?
    - Did you press the red button (record)...?

I did select PIDs, and I see real time data for the PIDs that I select, but the red button is not active?

After connecting, how do you view real time data?
Did you press the yellow button? If so, that will display real time data but not log it. i.e. it starts "logging" but with the pause button pressed so nothing actually gets recorded.

    To start logging, either:
    1. Press the pause button to unpause logging,
    or
    2. Press the red button instead of the yellow button.

The red and yellow buttons will not be enabled while data is being logged or monitored. Once you click on stop (blue square) the red and yellow buttons will be re-enabled.

    Regards
    Paul
