    Question so what is the differance 5.3 and ls3

    so what is the difference between the 5.3 vortech and the ls3

    i have a 2001 yukon with the 5.3 vortech what do i set efilive for?

    LS3 is a newer version of the LS2, 6.2L V8 (LS3) vs 6L V8 (LS2). 5.3 Vortec is a Gen III so set it to LS1 99+.
