E40 ECM locked
This morning I tried programming a 2006 Trailblazer SS. The flash looked like everything was ok. Went to fire the truck and nothing. I tried to do it again and it said it was locked. I had a local tuner do some tuning with HP tuners for an sts turbo I put on but if he locked it, would I even be able to read it to begin with? I am kind of new to this at least with LS2's.
On the E40 I've been told by a couple of tuners that every now and then after a flash you need to pull power to the ECM for 10 seconds or so.
It's normally a rare occurance, so I am surprised you got it on the first time you flashed the car!
Give that a go.
