Scan tool problem NEED HELP

last night my scan tool stopped working properly
i can upload tunes fine but when i started to scan nothing showed except for the wideband reading. i tried unplugging the box from all possible locations and i tried restarting the computer several times. i even tried selecting just the basic PID's.

has anyone else had this problem?

should i try re-installing the USB drivers or the software?

this comes at the worst possible time because my tune is not yet finished and i race at mid ohio next weekend.

ok i tried it again just now and it didn't work with the PID selections i always use but i tried another PID selection file and it worked. i'm not sure what caused the problem but i'll have to look into when i have more time.

it's the E40 LS2 and none of them worked except the wideband.

i went back and looked at my PID selection and there were 36 channels i think what happened is i accidentally saved it with to many PID's
not sure if the problem was due to the excessive amount of PID's or not.
but i know i tried my other pid selection and it didn't work either but it might have alredy locked up. but it's working now.
