    THANK YOU ALL!!!

    This is F'n beautiful. I have been reading for 2 weeks and trying to absorb info and save/ categorize it with not much REAL success.

    You guys KNOW good info when you read it. Now if someone would continue to centralize GOOD information. I will provide the NewB viewpoint .

    Yes, I agree, I'll take some time to do some more categorizing/centralizing... and I have to include links to new stuff.

    Hi Gelf, thanks for the doc.

    It shows inverse relationship between HC and NOx in the useable AFR range...
    if HC level is low then NOx level rises sharply, failing the tailpipe emission test;

    I tried to manipulate the AFR in OL to get the emissions to pass, but I would end up at either end of this reverse relationship (never in the middle); so I found the easiest way to pass the test is in CL, the PCM's trimmed stoich point is just right.

    Hi Joe, with LC-1 you can program the narrow band voltages to lambda values, the values in the LC-1 manual are on the rich side giving reading 0.98 when tested.

    I failed the emmisions test earlier this year, I tried setting the AFR all the way up to 15.4:1 but still ran pig rich on one bank, I swapped my LC-1 sensers over and LTFT's on both banks went in opposite directions, it seems both sensors were due for replacement after fours years in daily use.

    I believe I may have damaged them when they were installed in the stock manifolds (headers), they were always over heating.

    The quickest easiest thing to do is to order an LM-2 cable from here (check with him that this is the right cable for the MTX): http://taquickness.com/taqcables.htm
