    Default Checksum Fix ?

I was just told that I can get my 1998 PCM fixed but that I would have to do a 'checksum fix' when I got it back.

Can I do this with my V2 and if so how would I do that. I looked in the documentation, but didn't see anything that stood out.

    TIA

I really need to know if this 'checksum fix' is possible, so I can decide if I should ship my PCM out to get fixed.

If the checksum is incorrect in the file that you read from the PCM (and therefore in the PCM itself), a button will appear in the first calibration window that displays the checksum, called [Update Checksum] or something like that. Click that button to update the checksum in the *.tun file, then save the file and reflash it back into the PCM.

Note: EFILive will not allow a PCM to be reflashed with a *.tun file that has incorrect checksums.

Thanks for the information. I guess I can ship it out now and see what happens.
