2007 Colorado IL5 PCM Read Issue

We tried to read a customers 2007 Colorado with a IL5 today and kept getting a error "Unknown Bin Format" or something like that. EFI Live would get to the point where it was about to read and kept getting this error.

Any ideas on what would cause this? Let me know if more information is needed...VIN or more information on the error. Thanks in advance.

If you get the bad bin file format, EFILive should save the bad file and tell you what it saved the file as. Please email that file to EFILive so that we can add support for it (mail to paul@efilive.com).

Yes, it did save the "bad" file. I will be sure to send it out to you all tomorrow. Thanks for the support. I hope it can be fixed so we can tune the truck for our customer.

I think you might have an older software version.
The IL5 PCM changed slightly in 2007 and we did need to make a change to stop the error you are seeing. Just to get some idea, when was the last time you updated the software?

I was using ver 7.5.3 build 36 when I got the error. I thought this was the most updated version? If not, let me know....Thanks.

If I specifically said we weren't going to support them then I led you astray, it was always planned to do them but not at the same release date as the 2004-2006 P12's.
As of 20th Feb the 2007's have been supported.

When you try to read the PCM again, can you please take note of the Bootloader version....
