    Default Clearing Allison codes?

Is there a reason why I can't clear the codes for the tranny with the V2?

I know there's an issue with the latest BBL firmware causing a $0281 error when you clear DTCs that has somthing to do with the Allison TCM and the way it handles the clearing of DTCs. not sure if it prevents the clearing of codes on the TCM though. I know it does still clear codes in the ECM.

Ya, I think that is what I am getting. I am getting an error message, but I don't write it down.

Can I get any help in the firmware so I can clear my codes on the fly with the V2?

Try the update that will be made available Mon 19th May (US time) in this thread:
    http://forum.efilive.com/forumdisplay.php?f=69

Once you have that update installed, if the error still occurs please save the trace file and copy it from FlashScan to the PC using EFILive_Explorer and email it to me at paul@efilive.com

To save the Trace file: F2 Scan Tool -> F3 Scan Options -> F1 Save Trace File.

    Regards
    Paul
