    Question BB ExtAD input to AFR

    Maybe I have missed this somewhere - I tried some BB logging on V2, the analog input from my WB is working so far - but I can't seem to be able to get the value converted to the AFR ... !? What am I missing?

    Garry,

    After you retrieve your BBL log to your PC using EFILive Explorer (EE), open it in the scantool, goto PIDs tab and select the AFR and BEN calc pids that apply to your wideband, replot the log and verify that AFR/BEN show up in the chart, and then save the log;

    i.e. at present any calc pids are to be added to the log after-the-fact.

    Cheers,
    Joe

    OK, tnx, seems to work ... though I will have to either do the voltage adjust on the V2, or set up the Calc PID right, I'm getting AFRs of 18-19 ...

    V2 BBL supports serial digital AFR for the common widebands.

    If you don't have time to make a cable, then you can get this: http://www.sfcable.com/cable/p/30D1-C1-S.html

    You should already have the V2 serial cable and the LC-1 serial cable...

    It's a two minute solder job, or less if I crimp an RJ to an old headphone cable ... Just haven't gotten around to it, as I only picked up my car Saturday ...
