    Default WOT vs MAF

    Hi,

    I was talking to friends last night about the MAF operation, I told them that the MAF will dial in two cases:

    1- if the RPM is higher than the value in {B0120}
    2- at WOT

    Please confirm if I am right
    Regards,

    Odd Boy

    Not sure I understand what's being asked.

    The bone stock setting (may be B0120 - I don't have Live available to me right now) is 4000 RPM. Below 4k, PCM uses combo of VE and MAF. Above 4k, PCM uses the MAF exclusively.

    Case 2 is just a boundary/special instance of case 1.

    In either case, the PCM uses the MAF to calculate the cylinder airmass...

    if the cylinder airmass is correct (i.e. B5001 is correct) then the BEN's will be 1.00 (i.e. measured AFR equals commanded AFR).
