Default EFI Live version 7.5, Why the change to Analog input calibration?

    Hello!

One thing that has bothered me a little bit about the new 7.5+ versions of EFI Live is the change that was made to the analog input calibration window. You used to have a test button that you could hit to see the actual input, and when you hit inititate, or calibrate, it would just take a snapshot of the voltage applied to the input.

Now you no longer have the test button, and it has been replaced with a start button. You have to hit start for the inititate and calibrate buttons to become functional. This new procedure seems to have made this clumsy, and not as accurate. Wondering why the change, was there a benefit to it that is going over my head?

    Default

The [Test] button was just renamed to [Start], that's all.
The name [Start] more accurately reflects the purpose of the button.

The button did not [Test] anything all it did (and still does) is start the A/D converters running so that you can see the analog data.

The other two buttons are not enabled until you click the [Start] button because there is not much point clicking on them unless you can see that the channels are actually receiving a voltage.
In fact if the voltage was not being applied, you would not know if you had not clicked the [Start] button. In that case you would end up with incorrectly calibrated A/D inputs.

    Regards
    Paul
