I have a VZ auto tuned by Oztrack in west Sydney and the part throttle shift is great. It was a little slow standard but now feel like a good quality 'shift kit' of old now. Give Steve a call, he seems to have it nailed.

Just got off the showroom floor, now lets fix it.

What WOT? But seriously, I've had the anchor in the passenger seat a lot lately ( since Oztracks tune went in ) so revs and throttle have been limited somewhat.
But the few chances that I've had everything feels great. The gearbox feels like it is working with the motor and everything is smoother than before. Wierd thing is, the brakes don't feel as good as they did before. Corners seem to approach more quickly as well. Best reinstall the anchor.

i know this is an old thread but has anyone got a solution to this?

i have a vz ss and shifts nice a quick/firm at part throttle as soon as you get into the WOT area it blows out to around a second.
    any help would be great.

I never got to the bottom of it unfortunately, ran out of time.. From memory there is no test port on the Trans for the band so you can’t see what is happening with the pressure to compare low and full throttle, you can only test line pressure. if i get some spare time I will look into it again to find an answer...
