2008 LMM Operating System - 12628594

Hi All,

This is a reposted thread about the new LMM ECM Operating System GM released in the last couple of weeks. I stupidly deleted the original thread whilst editing my post

There is three files listed below as attachments.

1 - M97.zip
2 - E35_Calz.zip
3 - E35_Cal.zip

The file 'M97.zip' needs to be extracted to -
\Program Files\EFILive\V7.5\Configuration

If you are using EFILive V7.5.4 or later then download and unzip the file 'E35_Calz.zip' to -
\Program Files\EFILive\V7.5\Calibrations\E35

For earlier EFILive version download and unzip the file 'E35_Cal.zip' to the same directory -
\Program Files\EFILive\V7.5\Calibrations\E35

Then reread your truck and all should be right to tune.

I got my recall letter in the mail. This new operating system is being installed by GM under the premise of a theft deterrent problem. Not trying to be paranoid but my truck has 40,000 perfect miles- 33,000 of them DPF free and tuned. Has anyone seen where GM's problem was? Should I leave well enough alone?

I had one today that was a no start with a theft concern. The update fixed the problem with no parts.

I did my recall, and I can not get it to work is there anything I may be missing. I have tried the down loads you have posted and still getting the 97 bin unable to read or something like that.

Sorry J.A.T I missed your question, the only reason it would still say that is if the files have not been put in to the correct directories. Please recheck against the first post.

I just did the step 1 and 2 updates above to a fresh download of 7.5. No luck opening a customers new LMM flash (he emailed me the tune). "unrecognized PCM" msg.

What could I be doing wrong?
