    The message is wrong when it says 7.5 or later. You need to be running V7.5.4 or later.

    You can download the latest V7.5.4 here:
    http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=8103

    Note: a new V7.5.4 update will be available in the next day or two, please check back for the update as it contains new features and bug fixes.

    I am going to try that anyways. I did notice your thread to stop posting about bugs but I thought mine might not be related.

    Anyways, trying now...
    Making sure I have the lastest BB and firmware....

    I have:
    bb 2.5.08 and fw 2.5.17

    Is this good?

    Also for some weird reason in my directory structure I have .pmms in two different places

    v8
    == boot block
    == config
    == efi live hapi
    ===== config
    ===== images.....

    I am using the set of .ppms that have mostly 5/20/2008 dates.

    OMG this is super hard to explain but after awhile of straining my eyes [dead beat tired right now] I think I have figured it out.

    There is some weird directory thing going on. I found an exe that will load the log files just fine.

    the old exe didn't get overwritten.

    Hard to explain but I see it now.

    Sorry for fudging up the board, Blacky!! TY

    One of the more recent updates changed the folder structure to remove the EFILive_Hapi folder. You should delete that folder and everything in it.

    If fact I highly recommend deleting the entire V8 folder and everything in it.
    Save any changes you've made to Options.ini before you do though.

    Then unzip the zip file again and all the correct files will be in the V8 folder.

    Done and Done. I overwrote the old .exes also. Everything looks to be working now.

    I might of pasted the 7.3/7.5 patch or whatever in the wrong directory whenever I recently redid my computer. I tried to get back to where I was very fast. I need to just give in and buy norton ghost.

    Everything looks good now. Dir structure is clean. Maybe I needed a reality check!
