Default Can I swap PCM's in my 05 GTO by diabling VATS?

Or will I need to bring it to a dealer for Tech2?

    Vinny,

I'm not sure about your car, but try this:

after installing the new PCM and doing a full flash to it of the tune file saved from your old PCM, do this:
    - from scantool send the correct VIN to the PCM,
    - from tunetool do the VAT relink (and only that),
    - motor should now start,
    - verify motor runs correctly (view PIDs to see if they make sense, check for DTC's),
    - allow motor to warm up,
    - from scantool do the CASE relearn.

    Cheers,
    Joe
