Default GM MAF Tables (LLY w/06 Airbox)

Ross/Paul, did GM change the MAF table for the 04/05 LLY's to increase the MAF's scale above 500G/s (The LBZ goes up to 583G/s, but the scale goes up to 800G/s)? I seem to recall at some point the last few entries in the MAF flow rate table having the blue border indicating it had been changed when it hadn't been changed since it was opened.

The limit should probably be set to 512 (which is the mathematical limit in the LLY), I've not seen a stock calibration above 477?, I guess the nice round number of 500 wasn't the right choice.

The LBZ type ECM uses different scaling and allows a greater number to be used.

    Cheers,
    Ross

Any chance of getting the table inreased to the ECM's mathmatical limit?

Yes, but the LB7/LLY config files are in a state of disarray as I am adding in new things for the DSP5 updates coming, so once they are released I can increase it.

    Cheers,

Ross, just curious, do you know if GM changed anything that we can't see with EFILive with their update for the 06 Airbox?

Wow, testing my memory here!, I seem to recall it was only one table that was changed, don't remember which one it was though.

    Cheers,
    Ross

If it was only one table, then it was B0201. Just wasn't sure if there was anything "Hidden" that had changed...

From memory there wasn't, I do recall thinking 'was that it!'.

I'm finding that we are burying the MAF table using the 06 intake hooked to a Cheetah charger and I'm not sure if this is causing problems or not. On the LB7, I would rescale and be good to go, especially when running the 5" intake pipe we had to lower the expected from larger pipe.

I do get a glitch when pulling where everything falls out for a couple seconds, not sure if its from the MAF being buried or what, but it does through a MAF code when it happens. May try unhooking the MAF and see what happens
