    Default Explorer won't connect....

    ...after shutting down once.
I need to do a repair install every time to be able to connect to my V2. Only time it will connect is right after the install.

This has been an issue ever since I did the last full install and did not get fixed with the June 22nd update.

    Are you running Vista?
If so, it may be a permissions problem with starting up the EFILive_Hapi.exe program.

As a last resort try this:

    1. Uninstall V7.5.4 and V8.1.1 (if 81.1. is installed)
    2. Rename the \My Documents\EFILive\V7.5 folder to \My Documents\EFILive\V7.5_old.
    3. Delete the \Program Files\EFILive\V7.5 folder
    4. Run Regedit and delete the key \\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\EFILive\V7.5 key and all its subkeys
    5. Re-install EFILive V7.5.4
    6. Re-install EFILive V8.1.1
    7. Copy any files that you had modified (that you want to retain in V7.5.4) from \My Documents\EFILive\V7.5_old to \My Documents\EFILive\V7.5

When you can't connect, do this:
    - exit EFILive Explorer (EE),
    - start Hapi,
    - start EE,
    Does it connect now...?

On your EE shortcut, do rightclick->properties and make sure that Start In says "C:\Program Files\EFILive\V8.1\Programs".
