Default Scanner Not Tracking KPA in V VE tune table Correctly

Ok, I'm trying to dial my VE in and the scanner is showing KPA at WOT of 95kpa. And in the tune on table B8101 the cell highlighted shows the correct RPM reference but only 29kpa which puts me in the wrong column.

    I'm using SAE.MAP and have a E38 ecm.

You have to set the tunetool table to use the same units as the scantool's Data tab (tunetool seems to be using psi)...

From scantool, goto PIDs tab and highlight MAP and go rightclick->metric.
From tunetool, go Edit->Configure Display Units and select that table and do rightclick, and set col or row units to metric.

More info (read down into each link):

I thought about making Version 8 metric only - but then I thought about how many of our customers in the US have guns - so version 8 will still support two systems .

However, it is being implemented a lot smarted in version 8.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T
MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE
    DUCT TAPE.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Im starting to get frusterated with the US Imperial system, I think its just "our" way of being the US of A and sticking it to every other country. But thats just me and I kinda wish everything was standardized, but my canadian friends switch between imperial and metric all the time for different things. Waaay confusing.

it wouldn`t be such a problem if someone would fix the imperial units
that have been off for over a year now.

If it makes you US guys feel any better about staying imperial, of all the countries in the world you have Liberia and Burma on your side still, and.....well, that's it

Sorry MrPrick, I try my best on the conversions as does Paul I am sure, but for me, the numbers mean nothing, I never got taught imperial at school, if you have specific problems please let us know.
I thought Paul had been playing around with the PSI and Inches thing before this latest release.

    Cheers,
    Ross

I changed that in the latest release. It now uses psi in both the scan tool and tuning tool. (Just don't right click on the MAP PID and select more info - I forgot to change the help text from inHg to psi)
