Default Question about Allison 6 Speed shifting strange

    Hey everyone,

I've got a 2006 LBZ with a stock transmission, I've got torque limits set by gear and RPM both on my tranny, and I've reset the TAPs after I flashed my ECM....from a dead stop when I mash it to the floor, my first gear runs up to about 3,000-3,100 RPM and hesitates before shifting into 2nd gear....is it slipping or perhaps performing a torque limiting function and cutting fuel? After it hits second, the truck just hauls ass!

Also, when I'm cruising in 6th gear and I floor it, it takes a second for the transmission to decide what it wants to do, I don't think there's any slippage or anything, I believe it's performing a 6 to 5 to 4 shift, and because of this it's just taking a little longer, does this sound normal?

Cancel, the previous message I got it figured out. Just disabled the torque limiting commands from the tcm and it shifts smooth at full throttle now.
