    Default E38 Pid selection

The PID selection for the E38 seems somewhat limited compared to what was available for my C5.

Can someone post up a PID selection so I can compare? Perhaps I'm not using the right PCM serial #.

How many do you have to select from? Off the top of my head I would have thought a couple of hundred would show. Certainly all the main PID's you would need for tuning are there.
Is there a specific thing you are after that your C5 had?

    Cheers,
    Ross

I don't have the option to select any PIDs under "Air" or "O2". SO I can't log MAF, DYNAIR. Can't see if the O2s are switching.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I had a good understanding of how things worked with my C5 PCM and V1.

Change the 'System' drop down list to show all, currently it is only showing DMA PID's for the E38.

    Cheers,

Switched to "All" and the list is exatly the same.

The only PID categories which show anything available are "E38", "Performance", and "External".

When I select "Default Imperial PID" list, "All", you can see what PIDs are valid.

And why does it say I have 22 PIDs selected when it clearly shows 4.

BTW, this is the rest of the above selection after I scrolled down.

Did you try to force a PID revalidation?
Connect scantool to ECM then Shift+F2.

    No, I'll try that tonight.

    Thanks Ross.
