    Default New ride...

    So I just picked up an 08 SS Cobalt. This thing is pretty damn impressive for a little turbo 4-banger. Naturally, the first thing that comes to mind is when are we going to see EFI Live support for this and how much is it going to cost me if I'm still on v.1?

    Those things are turbo now. Thats cool I THINK they used to be supercharged??

    That they did, but man the turbo ones are up like +60hp/+55tq which is pretty impressive considering the main differences are a turbo vs supercharger and Direct Injection.

    Jeff, nice ride... different than a 500HP Camaro, but still nice (and easier to park and cheaper on gas)...

    98 WS6, M6, 02 PCM, CO3, SD 2 Bar tune, 416 D1SC Procharger, 73# Injectors, Patriot Lq9 heads, 232 int 240 exh. Lift .595 int .608 exh 115.. header, Intake, AEM WB.

    I'll have some video up this weekend of a little back road adventure or two. It drives pretty stout for a 4-banger. Pulled enough in stock form to hold me next to a '99 Mustang GT with a few bolt-ons from about 30-90mph. For a DD, I sure can't complain. But, as stated above - it needs a tune. I can feel the PCM pull throttle or timing to control the boost. Gives you the feeling like the car wants to take off and then just falls on it's face a little during boost spikes. I'm sure the aftermarket will fill up quick with 'solutions' for this. Hell, Hahn's '08 SS just went 13.2@104 with a catback and a tune.

    Yea, Westers is working on tuning the LNF(2.0T) vehicles(sky,hhr,cobalt,etc) with HPT support.
    That much power and FWD is just crazy.
    Isn't there a little beta access already via EFILive?
    I could have sworn someone with an HHR 2.0T was asking for a beta cal some time ago.

    whenever you do start modifying it, post up the power you started from stock, and the power with mods. I'm very interested in what you make power wise. I have a friend here in charlotte that has methanol injection...yadda yadda.. stage 2 this and that.. can't remember, but his I believe is a 2006? so its supercharged.. and he only made 240rwhp and like 248rwtq i think.

    what are these new ones supposed to be stock?
