    Default First Tune on 4L60E

    I just got the program today, but i have been learning the demo for about a month now.
    So what i wanted to do is raise the shift points on my trans. just to see what i can do myself.
    They were set @
    1 -> 2 6000
    2 -> 3 6000
    3 -> 4 5900

    I changed the values in D0910-22 to the correct KMH to match the RPMs.
    Changed Part throttle 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, starting @ 81.3 TSP% to the correct KMH to match the RPMs.
    Changed the values in D0940, 41, 42, 45, 46, 47 to 6200 and D0950, 51, 52 to 6000.

    I just did this to see how the program works.
    Is there any tables i am missing to change? Please name them, and how to go about correcting them.

    Thank you

    KMMG

    D0910 and D0940 must both be met for the WOT 1->2 shift to trigger.
    Same with D0915 and D0945 for WOT 2->3.
    Same with D0920 and D0950 for WOT 3->4.

    I will refer to each of those as a "pair".

    You may want to set one of the pair lower so it is met first... i.e. the shift is triggered by the other of the pair...

    otherwise if both values of the pair match each other, the shift may be "late", especially if you have a converter.

    The "Pairs" are off set by about .4-.75
    Is that okay, i forgot to say that.

    For example...

    Say 80 MPH in 2nd gear equals 6000 RPM...

    If you want WOT 2->3 to be at 80 mph, set D0915 to 80 mph and D0945 to 5500 rpm.

    If you want WOT 2->3 to be at 6000 rpm, set D0915 to 70 mph and D0945 to 6000 rpm.

    Leave the PT shifts alone... if you do tweak these, do so in small increments only, as this will produce a noticeable early/late shift.
