Newbie here...
My current plow truck is a 92 K2500 350/4L80E. The trans is slipping bad in 4th and 3rd is on the way out.
I've got a chance to score a 97 K2500 350/4L80E. What's it going to take to put the newer (97) trans in my 92??
Thanks All

Not sure...but it should bolt straight up I'd think.
If you can get a 2002+....it would be much more beneficial. That's when they had all the upgrades in them..I believe.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T
MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE
DUCT TAPE.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
