    Default AutoTune

Okay, I am ready to take the plunge. Lets see if I have all the required parts to make AutoTune work on a Twin Turbo 2002 Corvette:

    1. Laptop (got it, new Dell XPS Gen 2) $2000
    2. EFILive FlashScan Scan and Tune Tool Commercial Ver $850
    3. Custom 2/3 bar OS from EFILive FREE
    4. 2 bar MAP sensor p/n 12580698 $50
    5. Innovate LC-1 WB02 $300
    TOTAL $3200

Have I forgotten any parts that will be necessary?

    Thanks,
    Lonnie

Lots of both, patients :( and gas  . Not going to get in a hurry, would rather do it right and safe then have to dig DEEP in my wallet for some engine internals.

Once I get everything in, I will start a new post for step by step process...

yeah - the waiting sux, but it's worth it. hands down, this is the best investment you've made into your car.

    Edit:
PS hats off to you for getting the WB at the same time you ordered Live. Tuning is a lot easier when you know what's going on.

Waiting gives you a chance to re-re-read everything, and to catch your breath again.

Waiting SUCKS!!! I hate waiting!! Did I say ...Waiting SUCKS!!

But, It does delay gratification - which is often good...especially for children.

    I feel sorry for Joel.
It must be like waiting for Santa to come.

    Cheers Scotty.

Yea, I got it bad. Ordered everything Friday and have already checked e-mail at least 3 times to see what has shipped :( :(

I am setting up a binder of reference material to have on hand (attached to my hip actually) while I proceed down this road of enlightenment:
    1. Custom OS from EFILive
    2. AutoVE Tuning from EFILive
    3. LC-1 Installation sticky from Scanning Forum

Going to install the extra bung to install the LC-1. I haven't read where anyone has gotten the LC-1 to work 100% in place of the NB yet. But I am sure someone will figure it out.

Going to install the bung into the left exhaust tube just before the cat and run it through the firewall next to the OBD plug. Does the LC-1 cable come pretty well insulated or should I plan on heat shielding the cable near the exhaust?

Any suggestions where to get the Gnd and switched +12V from? Guess I could pull out the Service Manual and start doing some of this work myself...

Now if I could just find a STOCK copy of a 2002 LS1 MN6 I could do some file compares to reset some idle adjustments that I know were made to fix a problem that I fixed in another manner and may still require additional adjustments.

Darn this if fun 8) :x

    Talk with you all soon...
