    Default Injector balance test

    Why the Injector balance test is not available in the new release (EFILive V7.5.4)???

    You have to do it manually...

    you click on each injector button in sequence... (when you click on each injector button, the previous injector is returned to normal control)...

    do this while logging so you can later analyze the rpm drops.

    Joe,

    Why would thay take away the logged rpm drop from this test screen?? Kind of a step backwards...

    I think the old method was much better, unless u have another point of view or there is another reason for changing it to the new one.

    I like both methods...
    - the old was automated and formatted the results in a comparative manner;
    - the new allows one injector to be turned off for an indefinite time (allows you time to probe with multimeter).

    I don't know why Paul removed the comparative method... I think it is just during this "transition" phase.

    It has not been removed permanently. As Joe said its a transition issue as we move from the old control panels to the new DVT bidirectional controls. It will be added back in.
