    Default timing vs AFR

I've seen some tuners reduce the AFR to lower than 12.5 (12.3 to 11.5 for naturally aspirated engines) in order to make more power by advancing more and more. if we ignore the smoke issues, do u think that really gives more power??? every body in this forum and in the internet in general, says that the power zone is between 12.5 to around 13.0.

    Please give me ur thoughts....

    Check this link out http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/resources/rich.php

All engines are deferent so there’s no harm in trying different combos to see what yields the most power, but we tend to always sit around 12.5 -13 afr for N/A engines and around 11.5-11.8 for F/I.
