I have a 01 GMC truck with a forged, turboed LS1 5.7. I was wondering if any one has ever converted a non-flex fuel vehicle like mine to a flex fuel. I have a fuel composition sensor from another motor setup I bought. Could I wire it into my PCM and plumb it into the fuel lines, then switch to a COS with the flex fuel tables and tune it to run on both fuels and switch back and forth seamlessly? I know the fuel system is already compatible with E85 as I have already ran 4 tanks E85 though the truck with just tuning for it. My bigest problem with running E85 all the time is the closest place to get it to me is 60 miles away, but it is about 90 cents a gal cheaper then super unleaded. Anyone ever done anything like this?
