Default To update or not to update?

    Hi All,
    I have a 99 Corvette Ls1 with A4 (4L60E)
I am updating my 99 Os to 02 Os I noticed the Trans calibration on some of the tables are different. Would it be smart to update to the 02 calibrations in the Trans or leave the 99 calibrations? My thinking is that maybe GM learned something for the better or is this wishful thinking on my part.
    The 02 A4 is also a 4L60E.

    Thanks

    Jorge,

If you like how it now shifts, then copy your old tables...

Then, after you have the '02 running correctly, try the new tables if you determine it to be of benefit (actually compare the new to the old to see what is really different).

The new tables would not be all that different, so you may just use the new tables if your old tables are stock...

See, I haven't decided which way either...

Funny I just read this after I posted my experience switching from '00 to '02 OS, it's VERY much worth it! Simplicity and diversity extended, you'll love it
