Downloaded a 2005 CTS-V today. I got a pop-up about entering a VIN. Why? I can edit the tune, but nothing shows in the VIN. Can I reflash with no VIN?

IT was common on them. You can put a vin in with both flash scan or tune. It wont hurt nothing any way

Makes you wonder, seems the CTS-V missed out on the VIN too.
In Australia a certain model of HSV also left the factory with no VIN, just a minor detail :?
