Default Unsupported PID's? Making them "supported"

I would like to know how I can add PID's manually?

I have one that is "unsupported" that sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. It isn't a techincally supported engine for EFIL. But overall, works generally pretty well. very few issues.

How can I tweak things to make that PID supported?

    Thanks!

    what is the PID?
if it is based of another PID you need to select that other PID.

When EFILive connects to the vehicle the part where it validates the PID's is a process where the PC queries the PCM checking which PID's the PCM supports.
So if the PCM responds that a certain PID is not supported then there is nothing you can do, GM never included support to log that PID in the PCM program.
DMA PID's are a different story, EFILive has to manually define every DMA PID per operating system. It's an arduous task trying to keep that up to date over so many controllers and OS's, so you might find on some late model vehicles you get some DMA PID's to validate whilst others won't.

    Cheers,
    Ross

    DMA PID's?

Any clue why this one would work sometimes, and sometimes not?

Are DMA PID's editable by the users?

No, it doesn't make sense why they would be intermittent.

No they are not. DMA PID's are found by reverse engineering the PCM code and finding the RAM address (per OS) for a given parameter, not a trivial task.
