Default No spark??? No injector pulse.

I appear to be getting no spark or fuel. If I hook up my snapon analyzer I can manually pulse the injectors so I know that all works correctly. When I crank I get no spark or injector pulse. Is there a setting on the pcm that could cause this? Crank or cam sensor? Any ideas?

Did you flash a base tune file after you updated to the custom OS. Have you read the help file associated with upgrading and using the new 2/3 bar OS if you havent you may want to look through that adn follow the steps closely

I do not have a custom o.s. It is all stock. I rescaled the injecor fuel, and turned off the VTD. I assume I am getting no signal from the crank and cam sensors? Or could the programing somehow do this. This is in a chevelle.

In the Scan Tool, select the following PID: {GM.STATE02} and connect to the vehicle with ignition on.

Then click on the yellow [Monitor] button at the bottom of the Scan Tool Screen.
Select the [Data (F9)] tab page and look for the "VAT Fuel Disable" value. If it says active then you have a VAT issue with your BCM.

That means the PCM has not re-enabled fuel due to a "security issue". most probably because the PCM and BCM are not "security linked". In that case you have two options:

(Remember to disconnect the Scan Tool by clicking on the Red disconnect toolbar icon at the top left of the Scan Tool prior to switching to the Tuning Tool.)

    1. Try relinking your PCM and BCM first.
With the ignition on, open the menu option Flash->PCM security, select the [VAT Relink] tab page and click on the [VAT relink] button.
Switch off ignition for 15 seconds, try cranking the car.

or if that does not work,

    2. Remove VATs using the Tuning Tool
Read the PCM contents or open a previously saved read of your PCM.
Select the calibration: System->Theft->Parameters->{G1201} "Anti Theft Configuration". Set it to None. Then do a calibration reflash.

Does the oil pressure sensor thing behind the intake have to be hooked up? It is not, I removed the wire. Would that cause this? What in the wiring could cause this. Anything?

My ls1 in my 71 chevelle does not run! :bang: I am not getting a crank signal.

I tested wire #2 coming out of the pcm blue harness (LT GREEN, CRANK POSITION SENSOR B+ SUPPLY)

It has no power. I tested my 2004 6.0 chevey truck green wire at the sensor and it has constant power with key on or off.

What could make this terminal on the pcm not have power for the sensor? Some kind of theft shutoff program? I turned of the vtd on the pcm( or so I thought)

I checked ALL switched and constant positive and ground wires running to the pcm and they are all getting power or are grounded correctly.

Why is this wire not getting power?

    Hi,

My car is displaying this exact same problem after some extremely high temperatures recently (weather at 50 degrees celcius). Would you be able to tell me which wire you found broken? This might give me an idea where to look.

    Regards,

    Adam

    SirNemesis/Adam,

    Welcome to the forum...

Going by post #7, I would say it was that wire, probably broken at the sensor connector (easy to get tangled in rachet when removing starter or mount).

    Cheers
    Joe
