Default SD Tune and the P0102 code

I have an SD tune, MAF is not installed or hooked up and the P0102 "Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Circuit Low" code is getting thrown.. I tried to set this code from C: Non Emissions, to Not reported, however when I went to disable the code, the idle goes to holy hell and the car ultimately stumbles and dies within about 10 seconds after startup..

What can I do so this code doesn't show up and my car idles right?

    Hi there,

I think you will find that the PCM needs to run this code to force it into SD, if you set it as not reported it will not run the DTC and that will prevent it from going SD. You just have to live with P0102.

Even Factory Holden GTS mafless tunes still throw P0102.

Correct, but you can set the MAF codes to "no mil" to prevent the SES light on the dash.

Set the code to No Mil and in DTC Type set to Non Emissions.
