    Another question, I have an LC1 hard wired in with a AF gauge, I see there is the plug in for the phone looking cord in the V2, does the other end plug into the LC1 somewhere?

    Yes, connect to car, then select the pid list, and then start logging.

    You need the LC-1 serial cable and the FlashScan serial cable, with a null-moden adapter between them.

    The LC-1 has a SERIAL OUT cable which takes the stereo jack;
    The LC-1 also has a SERIAL IN which takes the terminator plug.

    Join the LC-1 serial cable to the FlashScan serial cable using this: http://www.sfcable.com/cable/p/30D1-C1-S.html

    or buy a ready made cable from TAQuickness.

    Well, a buddy came over last weekend with his hptuners (still learning how to tune with my EFIlive). We hooked up the LC-1 to his HPTuners using the brown wire off the LC-1 and a ground I tagged into the floorboard, both those wires screwed into a 6 or 8 prong connection that he plugged into his hptuners so we can get AF ratios... So, it looks like it will fit into the bottom of the V2.. Do you know what I am reffering too?

    You mean these two pins (see attached)...

    to see the analog inputs, you have to enable the external analog inputs in the V2 options (from the V2 keypad/LCD).

    This uses the wideband's serial output... this is different than using the V2's analog inputs shown in the previous post.

    Your LC-1 came with cable that has a DB-9 on one end... you can see it in the pic: "LC-1 Serial Cable"...

    the stereo jack plugs into the SERIAL OUT cable on the LC-1.

    TAQuickness sells a cable that is already made up (no need for null-modem adapter).

    Using the null-modem adapter I showed earlier makes connecting LC-1 -> V2 a snap, much easier than analog.

    will this work as good as any other?

    Also, I took the 1meg memory out of my camera and put that in the V2.. Do I need more memory or should I just buy a bigger one and put it in the V2?

    1 Meg or 1 Gig, if 1 Gig it will be plenty, 1 Meg not so much.
