    Default fly by wire throttle problem

    hi i have a 04 commodore ls1 i have fitted to an izuzu, i have wired the electronic throttle pedal but engine runs but no throttle control, comes up with dtc p2120 accelerator postion sensor 1 circuit , any ideals, starting to pull my hair out

    with a ls1 i think you need a TAC ecm to run the throttle . i think the ls2 with a e40 or e38 ecm you dont need the TAC



    i see in a post you have a TAC all ready

    i would test both sets of wiring from the TB to the ECM to see if both are reading the same

    i take it the TB is a stock unit , if not with setting up an aftermarket unit that uses your old guts i have found testing the voltage before pulling it apart and then setting it up with voltage in the new unit works
