    Default PCM died do i have to buy another licence to retune new pcm

    hi all
    the pcm in the clubby died and i had to replace it and just bought a stocker from the wreckers

    i still have my mafless tune on file and was wondering if i have to buy another licence to tune the new pcm or if the licence can be transferred to the new pcm from old one so i can put my tune back in

    car is quite sluggish with the stock 220kw tune and had to put the maf back on lol

    thanks

    Afraid so;
    The EFI license is to the PCM serial number which cannot be transferred.

    Contact EFILive direct and explain your situation. They can in fact transfer your license. I think there is another thread here about it, might be on another forum I've been reading so much, but I know I read someone else had this issue and they can do something for you. I'd either contact them or wait for Paul or someone from EFILive to confirm before you spend more $$$$$.

    I tried that thru Jesse, not to say that you should not try going direct.
