Lots of questions
My buddy has a 2007 Classic Silverado, we replaced the 5.3 with a LQ4 6L that has a LS6 cam.
I copied the engine tables over from a stock 6L to get us up and goin. Well it drives good except its commanding 13.17 idling and cruising. WOT AFR Commanded drops down in the 9s.
Went riding around last night to play with the timing. Some times after a WOT Downshift the converter wont lock up. I can go in the DVT and select 99+ TCC Enable and it works fine. Also in the DVT i commanded 15.5 while we were just cruising and his MPG went from roughly 12-13 @13afr to 20-21@15.5afr.
This morning he was goin to work and said he couldnt get over 50mph, it was sputtering and spitting bad.. restarted the truck and its fine
Also the TCC locks like its suppose to until a WOT downshift, and then it wont lock up.. no codes are thrown..
help guys.. haha please!
