    Can you post both files?
It sounds to me like something to do with the anti theft settings.

A0014 IAT VE multiplier was set to 0.8 across the board which will lean off your ve table. For starters set this to 1.00.

You are right 5.7ute, except what you are seeing is EFILive flagging that the values are below 0.8, they are in fact still zero, this will result in VE numbers of 0.
The tutorial states for A0014, "Fill this table with 1.00 for starters".
Try that and I'd say it will fire right up then.
Oh, I also noticed there is a typo in the A0014 description that must have been there for a few years now!
    It says -
For example, if the VE Table value is 3.000 Grams*Kelvin/kPa, and the value in this table was 1.00 then the final VE number will be 3.000
But if you entered a multiplier of 1.01 the value will be 3.000
<< Bzzt! wrong, should be 3.030

Don't worry, you aren't the first to get caught out by empty tables. We fixed the Custom OS upgrade procedure last year when we did the Custom OS's for the Duramax to make it easier, with the E38 custom OS's we have been working on, it's now just one click to upgrade the OS and it also fills in the new tables with starter values. Yes, we plan on converting the LS1 to this same format when we get a chance.

    Cheers,
    Ross

Mike, as I explained above, the upgrade process for the GenIII PCM was devised some 3 or 4 years ago and was far from perfect, but, it got the job done. Since then we have totally changed the way custom OS's are created from base factory files (for the Duramax and E38 etc) so problems like you ran into are eliminated.
To avoid future grief you can create a script file from your running COS tune and apply those changes to the next custom OS you create, that will automatically populate the tables for you.

    Cheers,
    Ross

Yeah I will do that, I guess what threw me off was not expecting to find that the tables stopped it running, It is a case of read the instructions carefully!
