Default Just installed COS5 - Questions

First off - This is pretty cool. When I first bought my car I was looking at engine management systems for some of the features that we now have with COS5.

I flashed the computer last night with COS5 and then uploaded my adjusted configurations tonight. The car started up and runs - but it's really choppy and stumbles a bit.

I assume that it needs to driven so it can 're-learn'. Is that the case or is something else at play? I followed the documented instructions exactly and researched every custom table on the forum so I'm pretty sure that it's configured correctly - But I could have missed something.

Also, after installing the new OS my change oil light is randomly flashing at me and some of the other dash lights will blink a few times when I start the car. Is this expected?

Right now it's in valet mode because I need to drop it off to have some work done. That works flawlessly! I'll ultimately wire it up to my nitrous system so I can pull timing on the fly.

You need to adjust {B3647} "Commanded Fuel vs RPM (Normal) for starter's. It would be choppy when your commanding 10's AFR for your idle. Read the Custom OS upgrade tutorial.

    jermstyle, welcome to the forum...

    Get these into range:
    EFILive Custom Calibrations
{A0001} Forced Octane Scaler Percentage, was out of range when loaded.
{A0002} Octane Scaler Limiter, was out of range when loaded.
{A0004} MAP Disable TPS VE Table, was out of range when loaded.
{A0005} RPM Disable TPS VE Table, was out of range when loaded.
{A0006} TPS Disable TPS VE Table, was out of range when loaded.
{A0018} N20 Monitor VE Multiplier Table MAP Enable, was out of range when loaded.
{A0015} N20 Monitor VE Multiplier, contained one or more out of range values when loaded.
{A0016} N20 Monitor Timing Table, contained one or more out of range values when loaded.
    Questions:
    1. does B4001 match your injectors (check using spreadsheet)...?
    2. do you have the unreferenced-returnless fuel pressure regulator...?
    3. is your B0101 dialed in using wideband/AutoVE...?
    4. how close in agreement is the wideband AFR compared to commanded AFR (B3647, or during PE the richer of B3647|B3618)...?

Little background. I installed the heads/cam and other parts on my car and took it to MTI for a dyno tune. The car was 'tuned' for a 100 shot and looked safe on the dyno. I think that they left a lot of stuff un-tuned and I'd like to learn how to dial it in.

    Question 1
I have SVO 30# Injectors and I haven't done any calibration for them.

    Question 2
I don't have a FPR installed. The car makes ~60psi at idle.

    Question 3
I don't have a wideband yet. Still trying to decide on one.

    Question 4
    No wideband.

I have pretty open access to a dyno, just no wideband yet. What kind of WB do you have?

Thanks for the help. Hopefully I can learn how to tune my car with the info on this site.
