That log does not have any hard shifting any where in it. All I see there is torque management pulling some timing for the shifts, but that is it.

ive installed a stage 2 shift kit in the valve body before i bought this program, every time i shift it drops the timing down to levels past 8*-6.5*
    even under normal driving conditions??

Ya, that's all torque management. You still have all the stock factory torque reduction tables in the trans segment. GM pulls spark at the shifts to put less stress on the trany during the shift and make for softer shifts. You just need to reduce or disable it and it will shift hard/firmer with less or no reduction in timing.
