gameover,
ive tried to turn off the cot protection, it didnt help,,so i turned it back on. i havent messed with the trac control, the truck doesnt have that option.
and yes, this truck has been bad rich at wot !! im tryin to get some power to the rear wheels, and i know at 10.8 ,its not making what it should.
At 10.8 it never will....you need to find out why it's so rich at WOT. Maybe you need to start with the stock tune file again.....IMHO

It's fairly common for 2006 trucks to not go into PE when expected the first few attempts after a flash. I'm not certain what the problem is or if there is some readiness test that needs to first pass or what, but it can definitely be annoying.
justin,
ive been driving this truck for miles. months. without flashing it. when i got my dyno, i found out about the late pe engagement. ive been beating my head in, trying to figure out why. now i know, from " seat of the pants " why sometimes this truck is impressive, and sometimes a pooch. im lost for an answer ??
fastjim455,
I was looking over your log and I can see sometimes you're at 9.98 AFR

gameover,
i will work on the over rich condition in pe,, as soon as i can get pe to work properly. im reading everything i can on this topic. it seems the 06 truck is a problem child with this condition. i will have some time late today,or sat afternoon, to make some more pulls. im just going to keep playing with pe adjustments til i get it to go in.
fastjim455, try this tune.
The PE settings are based off our local Holden cars which never have an issue going in to PE mode. Also, as was mentioned earlier the cat protection fueling can cause very rich conditions. Rather than switch it off though, raise the threshold temps up a bit (which I did in your file).
Anyway, let us know how this goes.
Cheers,
Ross

thank you !!! i will try that, and get back to you soon. i would like to put an end to this problem !!!
Well, I don't think is any unknown PE settings we don't have in the software, so please do report back that it fixes (or doesn't fix) the problem.

Ross
