2006 MAX no PE ?

well,,i just took a white knuckle ride on some cold snowy roads !! its pretty much does the same thing. i was logging commanded afr, and on the first stab, up to 90 mph, no pe, just 14.68 all the way. i slowed down,stabbed it again, @ 85-90 mph, it just started to go into pe. third try, pretty much went into pe with throttle command. if your just driving this truck down the road,and stab it,,no pe,,you have to beat up on it alittle,,then it goes in,, you can feel the differance by the seat of your pants when pe works. the stock tune works the same way. this is the only truck ive had problems with, it also might be the only 06 half ton that ive noticed this on.

It's fairly common for 2006 trucks to not go into PE when expected the first few attempts after a flash. I'm not certain what the problem is or if there is some readiness test that needs to first pass or what, but it can definitely be annoying.

I've noticed this also.....Sometimes the truck has to be driven for a while before you feel the difference...."AFTER A FLASH"

im up for anything, ill drive it for abit. then ill log it. this problem just wont go away !! ive heard that the 2006 truck was a pain ... i guess this is why !!
