Have any of you guys without the flash chip had the RR
get into a non responding state where a hard reset would need to be performed?
Do you know of a way to reset the RR without removing the internal battery?

There are instructions on how to do so...
In short.. I believe it is:
Switch the button for flash/emulation
and perform a full write....
key off
and done...
it's more complex than that but whenever i get into a non responding state i do that and it works.
"All that is needed for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing..."
It can't toggle between flash and emulation because
this particular one does not have the flash chip.
I pulled the internal battery and "woke it up" but
I wonder if the ol' pull the PCM fuse with key on/key off trick would work.
