High RPM upon startup

Ok, i have the followin setup

6.0 SSR intake manifold
BBK ported to 80.. tb
JBA headers
AEM intake
1.7 Yella terra
LS6 heads
LS6 Cam
5.3 LM7 lower block
LS7 lifters
7.4" pushrods
LS2 injectors
Full Escalade exhaust system

I am tryin to tune the car which is provin difficult, but thats not the issue here, whenever i start up the vehicle cold or hot the rpm jumps up to 1500 then drops.

I tried lowerin the VE @ 400 and 800 but still, high RPM

I noticed that my afr at start up is 13.5 plus or minus a little.

Please help me fix this...I dont like the high rpm...

Post your current tun file and a start up log. That helps.

I am sorry, but i cant seem to find my start up log, and believe it or not, but the car isnt jumpin to 1500 any more, and my EFI is actin up durin that as well...

Devine issues, let me keep tryin, i lowered the timin and decreased the VE a bit more.

Hi there,
go to "idle stepper motor parked" under idle control. This sets the idle motor position at key on and hence the amount of flare you get when you start the engine. Change it by around 1g/s amounts at a time to see a noticible result. Too easy
