    Default To 2bar or not

I have a lq4 swapped STS turboed reg cab truck I want to tune. I run about 7 psi and I think I want to keep my maf. Will a 2 bar map help me tune this thing or should I keep the 1bar since I am keeping the maf? I am pretty green to this tuning so please explain your anwers fully. Thanks, Rodney

Absolutely--Get the 2 Bar MAP sensor. There is no reason to have EFILive and not give the PCM the correct information it needs.

You will need to rescale C6301 to 190 for the 2 bar MAP sensor. COS3 would also be a good upgrade for your boosted application.

you can remove your MAF and just install a IAT sensor along with the 2 Bar MAP and get to tuning. Thats what i did and its very simple to do.

Anyone have the part number for a 2-bar MAP sensor that fits the LS1/LS6 style intake?

I don't want to ditch my Maf, I like my stock driveability. Maybe I should do what you suggest and if I don't like the results I could just go back to my saved tune. There is a happy middle ground somewhere I think. seems like I should be able to tune the auto ve up to the point of 0psi. then use to 2bar to take over from there. keep the info coming ...Someone will get me straight.

why you against ditching the MAF? You won't know the difference having it or not.
I'm running Custom Operating System 3, tuned open loop speed density.
its leaned out while cruising so I'm gettin better gas mileage, and its simple to tune.
