Default 2002 Z06 with unstable idle & rich mixture

Hello everyone. I have posted this question a couple of times and you guys have done nothing but try to help me. Thanks for everything. I need to ask for help one more time. I have tried all the advice, used the tutorials and beat my brain for the last month on this car. The vehicle has a new engine with a comp G1 camshaft, and borla exhaust. everything else is stock. When the vehicle is started the idle will rise to about 2000 rpm then drop down to about 600 and the computer will try to compensate but cant keep up then the vehicle will die. I have attached my tune file. Will someone take a look at this and let me know what im doing wrong. Please. Thanks ahead of time for all your help

Have a look at B0107 & B0108. With these both set at 0 you will not enter idle mode. Try B0107 at 3 & B0108 at 1.2.
Also it will help if you post a log.

    1. VE Table B0101: Looks like you are still running the stock VE table..perhaps cut 10-20% fuel in the 400 & 800 rpms line.
    2. Desired Aiflow B4307: Have you done RAFIG? If not, try adding .5-1.0 g/s across the board.
    3. Startup Friction Air B4343: Add 2-3 g/s across the board.
    4. Direct Airflow Correction: B4515: Might double-check your values. You have some unusual values in RPM Low Drive..re-check Idle Tutorial for values.
    5. Spark Tables B5913 & B5932: Are you still using stock? 17 degrees of timing in base gear for idle is really low for a cammed car. If nothing else just cut & paste Spark High Octane B5913 into B5932.

A lot of your tune appears to still be stock. Most likely your Base Spark is just way too low, and your Direct Airflow Correction Table needs some work. Check SSpdDmon's Idle tutorial tune. If you check 'idle' on search, he has numerous tunes attached that addresses questions just like yours. It worked quite well for me.

I Would "lock up" the <1200 rpm timing @ ~30-35* so you don't jump into a hole with adjacent cells. That will lean it up, but probably not enough. Add air ..

Bruce what do you mean with the timeing? all cells in the 400,600,800,1000,1200 should b e the same or just up to say .28 grams? I am trying to get mine to idle better with a 239/ 243 cam.

all cells in 400-1200 rows should be ~30 or 35*. This is a no real load area and it will help with the cam overlap.
