    Default Any Tuners near Nashville?

I recently purchased a 2008 Corvette. The previous owner had a number of mods installed. He wanted the car to run like a old musclecar with a thump thump and a little shake. This is what He got but I would like it to run smoother without the dragster feel.

The car has a CAM 227/239 .614/.620, .650 lift dual springs, AR longtubes with 3x3 catted X pipe, VaraRam induction, ported throttlebody, Underdrive pulley, 180 thermostat, NGK TR55 plugs.

Custom Tuning VIA EFI Live Dynojet 224x Street Data Logging.

Can this combo be tuned to run in a more docile manner? Any tuners around Nashville Tennessee?

It can probably be smoothed out a little at idle, that seems to be a pretty hefty cam so it'll never idle smoothly like factory but a good tuner can probably get it close.

Sorry, I dont know of any tuners around Nashville, I know PCM4Less is in Mooresville, NC but google maps says thats a 7hr one way trip. Alvin knows his stuff though, if you cant find anyone closer maybe make a weekend trip out of it.

Thanks. The company that installed the CAM is in Atlanta which is about a 5 hour trip. I talked with them about replacing the CAM but I thought that if there was a good tuner closer to Nashville I would give a tune a shot before CAM replacement. I am in no hurry and the weather is nasty so I can wait awhile.

If I knew a little more about gas engines I'd help you out, I live by Sevierville, just the other side of Knoxville, but I'll be honest...I'm a diesel nut, still working on gaining my gas engine skills!

My brother in law is a diesel mechanic. H e retired from Ford as a end of the line mechanic so he knows both Gas and Diesel. The problem is that the newer cars are all tuned electronically as is mine. I took my wife for a ride Sunday and lo and behold, She likes the way the car runs and sounds so I may just leave it as is. I just got the title so the next hurdle will be to see if it can pass emmissions testing. Thanks for the response!
