Nice document Al. I didn't have time to go over everything but, how did you address the fuel gage?

I used the 2002 Camaro/Firebird OS 12212156 (available from http://www.tunefiledepot.com/) for the base file. I then used the fuel segment from the 2002 Express Van OS 12212156. Since the fuel tank and sender are different, I then copied the fuel system parameters, fuel gauge calibration and Convert sender to volume tables back from the Camaro/Firebird base file. I just looked and Tordne doesn't have the Express Van on his site. I will email him one.

That is really cool. You are the man. That will really cut down on the swap time and funds to do it. I hope all the prospective 98 owners out there are paying attention to this monumental advancement-the segment swap. So, allright you know who you folks are who balked at the idea of swapping the cluster and tank/sender are...get to it! You have no reason now not to enjoy the fruits of the Custom OS's. Paul and Ross et all worked really hard to give you people this stuff for free-pay them the respect and run it and tell them how much you really enjoy it- I am so thankful,
Being the hard head that I am though I probably still would have gone the long hard way I went again just because I love re-wiring stuff and turning wrenches.

Very cool, I figured there would be a segment that would allow for the PWM fuel gauge to continue to work on the 98 cluster. You just saved me hours of work, I appreciate it.

Would you mind if I added this info to the Wiki @ GMTuning.info? (I'll keep the (C) in ...)

When you write "Red C1-60 BRN, Blue C2-19 PNK, C2-58 PPL and C2-20 ORN remain in the same locations" - does that mean they stay in the original connector, so C1-60 -> C2-60, both being red, or does it mean, C1-60 remains C1-60, but effectively moving from red to blue connector?
