BB Logging beta update: May 12, 2008

I noticed when recording pids on V2 BBL, the inverse video hotkey doesn't work... I have to stop recording first.

after this update my V2 is not detecting an OB2 module
and so only external PIDs can be logged.
i re installed an reformatted and re flashed firmware/bootblock and still no connection.
IIRC this happened to me before and a reformat of the config files solved it,
but this time i`m stuck.

There's a problem with the latest firmware that causes VPW modules (i.e. LS1) to not communicate properly. I'm getting a fix out asap.

I set the message filter too aggressively and accidentally filtered out some messages that should be being received by FlashScan. I'll relax the filters and post a new version either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Yes, I find build 53/54 is not able to connect to VPW in passthru mode (scantool doesn't detect the ECM/PCM).

Was going to post this last night as I tried to do a tune. Flash and read perfectly but the Scan Tool in passthrough could not detect the ECM. After scratching my head for a while I tried an other version of the scantool and no go so figured it mustbe the firmware. Downgraded the firmware and all is well.

Correct, its a "menu" hot key and only works when in the menu subsystem.
I could duplicate it in the data logging subsystem.

I am unable to log pass thru with the new bootblock. i have tried all the firmware for this bootblock, but still no go. should i reinstall the software or is this a bug?

yeah VPW joe. I watched the status window and it was trying VPW (so it was the correct protocol) but it just couldnt find the PCM. Havent gone outside and tried the CAN based car yet (Holden VE).
