I didn't see anything on length. Can you make custom length ones? I'm interested in one for a LC-1 but would prefer it to be custom length to my spec (I'm running a homemade one right now. Its spliced out of two cables, but half is grey cable, half is black and it looks like shit). I wouldn't mind picking up this since it looks nice and professional.

The sLC1's I have in stock are ~3 feet in length. What length are you needing?

5.5 feet if at all possible. I came up with that by making it have the same overall reach as my efilive cable given that they plug in at diferent locations.

Kevin - It might take me a while to muster up a cable longer than what I have in stock (1-2 weeks). A faster more flexible solution may be to acquire a 2.5mm F/M phono cable of desired length. If you're set on the 5.5' length, let me know and I'll proceed on my end.

I'm stupidly picky. If yours is black, and you can do 5.5', go ahead with it, I can wait. I have something that works now, it just looks like shit in my opinion.

I just bought a LM-1 and this looks perfect. But I have a couple of questions.

    * My last EFILive software update was Feb-07. Can I still use the serial cable?
    * Can I still log the actual AFR in the Scan tool?
    * Is it really as simple as the instructions make it sound?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thumbs up

I apologize for the delayed response. Internet service is still rather spotty since Ike blew thru.

You will need to update your EFILive software and Flashscan firmware in order to take advantage of serial logging. The latest software can be downloaded here.

Before you perform the upgrade take the time to read over the "readme" files. The upgrade is not very difficult, but it is an involved process.

YES! Here's a tutorial for serial logging. It covers both BBL and Pass-Thru
